The Tri-Lakes Area is located in a beautiful setting along the Colorado Front Range. It is comprised of Monument, Palmer Lake, Woodmoor, Gleneagle and Black Forest. There are actually three lakes here, one in Palmer Lake, Monument and Woodmoor, thus giving the area its name! This area is located just 19 miles North of Colorado Springs and 40 miles south of Denver.
Woodcarver Properties was the home of the Woodcarver Museum from 1971 - 1990. This was the first National Museum for the exhibition of woodcarvings. Alison Brown bought the building in the early 1990s and moved her company, NAVSYS, out of her home and into Woodcarver.
In 2007, Alison founded the Tri-Lakes Business Incubator and now offers low-cost office space, conference room and gazebo rental to emerging businesses in addition to a business growth program.
The Colorado Springs Regional Economic Development Corporation, in conjunction with the Tri-Lakes Economic Development Corporation is proactively working to bring new, enterprise level business to our area. We boast an active Chamber and the Tri-Lakes Business Incubator.
